The first one was the theme, which took much deliberation, as if you get the theme wrong, then it sets a precedent for the rest of the task, in the sense that it started in the wrong direction, and would therefore finish in wrong place.
I first went for a white, blank, article - like theme, but it seemed too - stock so to speak. And considering my comfort with computer technology is essentially non - existent, it appeared that the amount of work I would have to do to colour it up, made it somewhat out of my depth to achieve.
So, I decided to then change theme, to something that adhered more to the bands image, message and ideals, so relieving the task of creating the appropriate theme myself, which upon reflection, was a task in itself.
I eventually decided on the "Freestyle" theme available, and removed all the pictures and text, and entered it myself.
The problem that I faced with that particular misadventure, was the uploading of images, as when I saved the images from google searches for my own band(facebook is blocked - making the task that bit more awkward) it saved in Tiff file, and therefore would either struggle to, or straight up refuse to appear on my page. I had to then gather up all my experience in matters like this(of which I have none) and drain all my time and persistence(of which I have even less) to convert the file, and use the handy "grab" tool available to cut, crop and place the newly baptised JPEG files into my page.
Eventually, we had something that could at least claim to be something resembling a webpage, or something that turned up as one as to fancy dress party.
And that is the story of the confused looking document in ridiculously awkward size on my blog.
